Skin Care
Basic steps such as a preventive acne kit for good skin cleansing and a moisturizing sun block can prevent scarring and the loss of elasticity that could ultimately require a surgical procedure. We offer a wide variety of skin care products and our aesthetician can help tailor a skin care regimen to fit your individual skin type and skin needs. We are not locked in to one manufacturer nor should anyone be.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a very effective way to help minimize the fine lines and wrinkles that come with time. This procedure gives my patients a healthier and more youthful appearance with virtually no risk and no need for surgery.
Chemical Peel
In conjunction with microdermabrasion we offer a variety of low and intermediate grade chemical peels. These can allow even further enhancement of the skin quality in the areas with slightly deeper lines. I find that the combination of microdermabrasion and low grade peels offers excellent results while minimizing the risks of scarring and pigment change that can be associated with deeper peeling procedures.

Laser Hair Removal
Five years ago I purchased the Epilight hair
removal laser. I traveled to a number
of cities across the country where
this laser was being studied prior
to its FDA approval for use in permanent
hair reduction. I was so impressed
with this laser that I bought it right
away and was the first physician in
Washington to use it. I have never
regretted the decision.
While there are other lasers that
can remove hair, many do not have
the flexibility or the size to make
treating almost any area or hair color
possible. While the bikini line and
underarm area continue to be the most
popular, there is virtually no area
that we cannot treat (or have not
been asked to treat).
While there is no perfect solution
yet on the market for hair removal
and not all skin types are treatable,
my steady stream of patients and their
friends is a testament to this incredible
technology. It has been a blessing
to those who have undergone years
of shaving, waxing, and electrolysis.
